Name of Committee: Red Carpet
What is the purpose? The Red Carpet Committee is responsible for the set up and clean up at the Harbor for Senior Prom. The Prom is always the Thursday before graduation. Set up generally starts around 1:30/2:00 pm. Clean up is after the prom goers have left at approximately 6:00 pm. The Red Carpet Chair recruits other parents to help with set up/clean up.

What are the responsibilities of the Chair?
- Recruit parents to help on the Committee
- Minimum of six (6) people
- Minimum of six (6) people
- Alone or with the committee decide on the theme of the decorations for the day
- Meet with the Trustees of the Bathing Beach and Hingham Police to review parking and traffic plans
- Obtain permits to use Bathing Beach and Bandstand and Boat Ramp Parking Lot
- Coordinate with DPW to mow lawn, unlock chain and clean goose dropping from the walkway
- Contact George Loring for photo pricing
- Create email communication for HS Principal to distribute to Senior Parents with instructions for parking and George Loring photo information
- Send communication to HHS PTO Weekly Bulletin editor for posting
- Decide on the theme of the decorations for the day
- Help with making any decorations (couple of hours)
- Set up (approximately 1 ½ hours)
- Clean up (approximately 1 ½ hours )
