When does it meet (dates and times)? The first Monday of every month at 5 p.m. while school is in session, unless otherwise noted.
Where does it meet? High school Room 103
What is the committee's purpose? Along with the principal, the School Council is charged with helping to identify and adopt annual educational goals, reviewing the annual high school budget, formulating a school improvement plan and discussing educational needs of HHS students. It is a great way to get involved at the high school and stay up to date and connected with HHS activities!
Approximately how many volunteers are needed? Establishment of the Hingham High School Council is based on a Massachusetts General Law mandate that all public schools have a school council comprised of the principal, students, parents, and teachers.
